Visiting the Red Centre has been on my list for a while, so I have been checking out accommodation around Alice Springs. Crowne Plaza Alice Springs stood out because of its position near the MacDonnell Ranges and the local golf course. The property also has a pool, spa and dining options, which can be handy after spending the day outdoors. For a Central Australian trip, the location looks quite convenient.
